For Shannon and Dzhamil, their wedding wasn’t just about saying “I do”—it was about creating a day that felt like stepping into their own fairytale, complete with soft pastel florals, shimmering details, and the gentle sparkle of the Chesapeake Bay in the background.
Celebrations at the Bay is already one of the most picturesque venues in Maryland. With panoramic views of the bay, two private docks, and a waterfront ceremony space, it’s the perfect setting for an elegant evening.
The ceremony took place beneath the white pergola overlooking the water. The ceremony space was decorated with candle filled lanterns, touches of pink and tons of flowers. The pergola was adorned with a beautiful floral arch of shades of pink, red and white, giving it an ethereal, almost enchanted feel. The sun-drenched afternoon gave way to a romantic evening as the couple and their guests moved inside for dinner and dancing.
At its core, this wedding was about Shannon and Dzhamil’s love for each other and their desire to share that love with the people closest to them. The princess-inspired elements simply added a layer of fun and nostalgia to a day that was already full of meaning.
